Who We Are
We are pioneering how digital technology solutions can impact the world.
The First Web Foundation is a non-profit organisation legally registered in South Africa, with registration number 234-604 NPO.
Our ambitious target is to support 10,000 small, community-based, and under-resourced nonprofit organisations, social enterprises, and individual social influencers in Africa, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond, by 2030.
Our typical beneficiaries and partners include individuals and organisations that are currently making an impact in their communities or have the potential to do so by utilising our free websites, social media management, and other related digital technology solutions, which encompass both web-based and mobile-based options.

Our mission is to support the social and nonprofit sectors in Africa and beyond in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by providing digital technology solutions, technical support, customised information, news, tips, and resources on the Internet, mobile technology, online fundraising, online communications, and social media.
